Well...it started out pretty good...

The Lions started our game with the tough, defending South Division champs Lake Steilacoom Lancers-Orange with a scoring drive that ended with a long TD pass from J.G. Goldsmith to Phill Truckey in the first quarter. Kicker/fullback Matt Philichi nailed the PAT and the Lions lead 8-0 in the game's early minutes. The Lion's "D" took the field and NT Avery Cederstand got a sack on our first defensive play. Then the Lancers-Orange took control, scoring two TDs on special teams in addition to three long scoring runs to win 42-8. Our focus now turns to the Harpers Angels this Saturday at Foss HS.
