Lions and Panthers

We played a tough game against a tough, playoff bound Tacoma Panthers team this past Saturday at Bellarmine Prep. After jumping to a 6-nothing first quarter lead, we fell behind 13-6 at the half and trailed 20-12 going into the 4th quarter. Our kids played hard to the end, but the Panthers showed why they are going to be a force in the playoffs, taking a 33-12 win. On offense quarterback J.G. Goldsmith found Caleb Kelley for two TD's. For the defense, Carson Grisaffi, Jorginho Souza, Jack Harrington and Nolan Murray made some nice hits, and Johnathan Samons got a game ball for his play on the d-line.
